Meet our April Newfins!

With the spring homebuying season well under way, having a reliable, experienced agent by your side is more important than ever. That’s why we’re thrilled to welcome over 40 agents to the Redfin team this April—each one ready to guide clients through every step of the journey with confidence and care.

One of our brand-new agents is David Blair, who joins our Jacksonville office with over 25 years of experience in North Florida real estate—most of it with ERA Real Estate. A proud Jacksonville local, David is deeply involved in the community. He serves on the YMCA at Flagler Health Village Board and actively volunteers to support programs focused on youth development, health, and wellness. David chose Redfin for the strong support system and powerful tools that help agents thrive.

“You can spend a lot of time trying to recreate the amount of opportunities that you have with Redfin,” David said. “I did that for decades as an independent agent, and it involved a lot of trial and error—not to mention that it came at an extreme cost. I’m just a few weeks in at Redfin, and I can see that our lead generation and other tech products are better in every way. I’m excited to see how they can work for me as I continue building my business.”

We’re also excited to see some friendly faces return to Redfin after pursuing other opportunities. One of those is Ruby Manuel, who joins our Seattle office with more than 20 years of experience in Pacific Northwest real estate.  She started her agent career at Redfin in 2010 and spent a decade with us before continuing her journey at several boutique brokerages around Seattle. Now, she’s returned—bringing her knowledge full circle and reconnecting with the place where her real estate career began.

“Back in 2008, Redfin was still new, but it had already built a great reputation,” Ruby said. “I was working in escrow and would chat with clients at signings—whenever someone had a Redfin agent, they always had amazing things to say. That completely shifted my career path and inspired me to become an agent. I grew up at Redfin so coming back feels like coming home. It’s not just a place to work—it’s a family. And your family supports you.”

David and Ruby are two of more than 1,100 agents who have joined Redfin since we rolled out Redfin Next, our game-changing agent pay plan.
